The GfK Household Panel is a representative sample of 2000 Czech households who regularly fill in and send their shopping diaries. Thanks to the representative sample structure in terms of Geographical and Socio-Demographic attributes, their shopping behaviour reflects the one of the whole Czech population of 4 million private households.
Regular weekly reports are recorded in households by InHome Scanning method that provides detailed information on everyday purchases.
Virtually unlimited retailer portfolio coverage is one of the key advantages of Household Panel. Outside traditional retailers, we also monitor purchases made at discounters market stalls, e-shops, petrol stations and other points of sale.
In Consumer Panel Services we regularly track the in-home consumption of around 90 FMCG categories (Food, Beverages, Personal and Home Care and Textiles).
